    How to Use Budesonide?

Budesonide spray is intended for use in the nose, generally 1-2 sprays in each nostril once or twice daily or as otherwise directed by your doctor. Avoid getting the budesonide spray in your eyes. Gently blow your nose before using budesonide spray. Gently shake the container before each use.

    If it’s your first time using this or you haven’t used it for over 2 days follow the priming instructions. If you haven’t used the pump in over 2 weeks follow the instructions to clean and prime the budesonide spray pump. Use the budesonide spray by removing the plastic cap, close one nostril by pressing it with your finger and tilt your head forward. Keep the bottle upright and carefully insert the applicator into the opposite nostril. Firmly press down on the pump and spray as directed by your doctor while breathing in through your nose gently. Keep your mouth closed. Don’t spray Budesonide Formoterol directly onto the middle wall of your nose.

    After you spray, remove the applicator from your nose and tilt your head back so that the medication will spread over the back of your nose. Repeat these steps in the other nostril, wipe off the applicator and put the cap back on. Don’t blow your nose for 15 minutes after using the Budesonide spray. Your doctor will prescribe your dose based on age, response to treatment, and medical condition.
